Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World
by Jennifer Armstrong
Describes the events of the 1914 Shackleton Antarctic expedition when, after being trapped in a frozen sea for nine months, their ship, Endurance, was finally crushed, forcing Shackleton and his men to make a very long and perilous journey across ice and stormy seas to reach inhabited land.

I agree. The details were very cleer to follow in the story. Some of the events that happened, like when they desided to kill the dogs, really suprized me. I really liked the book.

I am really happy that they made it all the way around. Also I am sad that they killed the dogs and the cat, but they had to because they had no more room to carry them.

When they made it all the way around I would never have thought that they all lived. I would think that a least someone died.
