I thought this book is really good it was really hard to stop.I didn't think Ruben would give David the ripped 50 dollar bill and the tobacco pouch.

I thought this book was really good. It did not surprise me that Ruben gave David the ripped dollar bill and the tobacco but I did not think Jeddy would tip off the Coast Guard about the Black Duck.

My favorite part was when ruben was on the Black Duck and the cost guard opened fire on them. I think it was smart for Ruben to hide in the raft. I didn't believe the coast guard wouldn't look in the raft I mean it would look a little suspicious. They probably figured it was more liquor. I can't belive Jeddy would do that. I liked the end when David asks where Marina is and how you find out that Ruben got married to her. Also how Marina was down south caring for Jeddy. I also liked the beginning when the the compared he skin of the dead man with blubber that was a good choice of words. I also wonder about iwth Nick Roth would that count as another kidnap or a rescue? I highly reccomend this book if your looking for a Mystery/Thriller/suspense book.
